PandaLive (Panda Live) in your browser: random video, voice or text chat with people around the world, plus live streams you can join. Nothing to download, and nothing to sign up for before you begin.
Free to startNo sign-up to startOpens in your browser
PandaLive is the web version of PandaLive: a place in your browser where you can watch people live or video chat with real people, one at a time. It runs at pandalive.chat on a phone or a laptop, you start as a guest, and it is free to start.
Most people who search for pandalive are looking for the app. You don't need a store for this one. Open the page and you have the same things in a single tab: a random match by video, voice or text, a list of who is online, a video feed with a Live tab, messages and coins. If you would like an icon, you can pin it to your home screen in a couple of taps.
The bit that makes PandaLive different from a plain chat site is the order you can do things in. Some nights you want to be put in front of someone straight away. Other nights you would rather sit back, watch somebody who is already talking, and decide whether you want to say anything at all.
Either works, and you can switch from one to the other whenever you like. Watching first is the gentle option: your camera stays off and you only type if you want to. Talking first is quicker: one tap on the match screen and someone new is there. The table shows how the three ways in compare.
| Watch live | Random match | Who's online | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Steps to begin | Open the Live tab and tap a room | Pick Video, Audio or Text, then tap Start | Scroll the list and open a profile |
| Your camera | Off — you only watch and type | On for Video; off for Audio or Text | Only if you start a call |
| Who you get | Whoever is on stream in that room | Whoever the match puts in front of you | The person you picked |
| Good for | Easing in before you say a word | A surprise when you are bored | Choosing who to talk to |
These are photos, not streams. Rooms open and close through the day, so the way to see who is broadcasting right now is the Live tab in the video feed.

Open the page, choose whether to watch or to match, then keep talking or move along. That is the whole routine, and none of it needs an account.
Any browser on a phone or a laptop. No install and no form: you start as a guest the moment the page loads.
Take the slow way in through the Live tab, or let the match screen put someone in front of you by video, voice or text.
If the conversation is going somewhere, stay. If it is not, move to the next person and nobody needs an explanation.
Each screen, from the match tabs to the message list, is walked through on how PandaLive works.
A live room is the low-pressure way to meet someone on PandaLive. You arrive, watch and get a feel for the person on stream before you decide to say anything. When you want more than the room, the Start Video Chat button asks that person for a call between just the two of you.
You can't go live yourself. What you can do inside a room, from the chat to gifts, is covered on the Panda Live streams page.
Watch who's liveThe people on PandaLive come from more than 50 countries, so the person who answers may not share your first language. When a message arrives in a language you don't read, tap the translate button beside it and the bubble switches to your language; tap again and the original comes back. After you have done that once, new messages translate by themselves. That makes it easier to talk with real people who live a long way from you, and it saves the awkward guessing at the start.
You can also go looking. The Who's online list has tabs for English, Spanish, Portuguese, French, Turkish and more, so you can pick someone who speaks your language, or deliberately pick someone who doesn't.
When a call goes well, hanging up doesn't have to be goodbye. Follow someone from their profile and they show up under Following on the Who's online list. When you want to pick things up again, their profile gives you two ways: a message button for when you'd rather type, and a video button that rings that one person.
Your conversations collect in the message list, so a chat you started on Tuesday is still there on Friday. If you came in as a guest and want to keep all this across devices, that is the moment an account becomes useful.
The browser is the app. PandaLive runs on pandalive.chat in Safari, Chrome or any current browser, and it does everything a downloaded app would do here: matches, live rooms, messages and coins. Add it to your home screen and it opens full-screen from an icon, like anything else on your phone.
Setting it up takes under a minute on each kind of device. The steps for iPhone, Android and computers are on the PandaLive app page, and if you were hunting for an installer file, the Pandalive APK page explains why Android doesn't need one.
Open it in Safari and add it to your home screen from the Share menu.
Open it in Chrome and choose Install app or Add to Home screen. No file to download.
Any current browser works. Allow the camera and microphone when it asks.
The first time you open PandaLive you are already in, as a guest. There is no email box, no password and no profile photo to upload before you can watch a room or start a match. Making an account later is optional and mostly about keeping your follows and messages. Read more about how to start as a guest.
What counts as the free part, and how coins and gifts work, each have their own page.
You can leave any conversation, keep your face off camera and report anyone who crosses a line. The full safety tips and community rules spell out what is and isn't allowed.

Every profile has them, and live rooms have their own report button at the top of the screen.
Nobody can put you on a stream. People in a room may see your name, but a viewer’s camera is never shown.
Not ready to show your face? Pick Audio or Text on the match screen and switch to video another time.
Pick the page that matches what you came for. Each one goes deeper than this page can.
